The Sarah "Sally" McFarland Carillon
Richard "Dick" McFarland, a 1952 College of ACES graduate and longtime member of the U of I Foundation Board of Directors, presented the gift of a 173-foot carillon to the University of Illinois In memory of his late wife, Sarah "Sally" McFarland.
About the Project
A garden is a living work of art—and like many living things, it requires nourishment, attention, and care. You can help ensure that the gardens surrounding the McFarland Carillon remain lovely for years to come.
About the Flowers
'Sally's Charm' is a single peony that produces beautifully cupped blossoms of delicate shell pink with double rows of well-rounded guard petals. The 'Illini Orange' daylily sports orange blossoms with wide petals and bold flowers; slight ruffling is apparent on petal edges.
